Mission Statement
Saint Jerome Catholic School is a Eucharistic family that empowers students to grow in knowledge, love, and respect. Inspired by the Gospel, we engage our parish and school community in joyful service.
About us
St. Jerome Catholic School inspires a passion for excellence in teaching, learning, and discipline in grades Pre-K3 through 8th grade. Established in 1961 and fully accredited, our distinguished faculty boasts a full time state certified guidance counselor as well as state-certified teachers and faculty who hold advanced degrees. As part of the ministry of St. Jerome Catholic Church, we are proud to be an intimate faith-and-family-centered school. St. Jerome provides a well-balanced yet demanding curriculum that strongly emphasizes academic advancement and excellence. Our St. Jerome graduates continue their education at prestigious schools such as St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Cardinal Gibbons, and Archbishop McCarthy.
We continually integrate new technologies and materials into our classrooms. As part of our commitment to 21st-century learning, SJS utilizes Promethean Interactive Boards in all classrooms and 1:1 Chromebooks in grades K-8. Here at St. Jerome Catholic School, our mission is to create a Eucharistic family that empowers our students to grow in knowledge, love, and respect. Inspired by the Gospel, we engage our parish and school community in joyful service

Academics
St. Jerome Catholic School provides students with a thorough, faith-centered, and high-standard curriculum.
St. Jerome Catholic School is committed to providing a strong curriculum that allows our graduates to excel academically, spiritually, and socially, in high school, college, and beyond. The curriculum has been developed and is implemented to allow our students to be creative and independent thinkers while integrating our Catholic values. The curriculum provides opportunities for students to learn and value a sense of community, national, as well as a global perspective. We are committed to the development of faith-filled, responsible, and contributing members for tomorrow.
All students in grades PreK-8 take core curriculum classes consisting of English Language Arts (reading, writing, grammar, spelling, vocabulary), Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. These core areas are extended and connected in special classes and STREAM.
Ultimately, our goal at St. Jerome Catholic School is to prepare the whole child as they progress through the years to enter the higher academic world and become compassionate and intellectual members of society.

Catholic Identity
Catholic Education
St. Jerome was a scholar and historian who translated the bible into Latin and because of him, we have a modern translation of the bible and can fully understand and study Holy Scriptures. St. Jerome, a true intellectual and scholar, once said " ignorance of scriptures is ignorance of Christ", subsequently, all grade levels take Religion as an academic subject. Students leave our school with an understanding of the Catholic Faith, Traditions, and Scripture. Our teachers are encouraged to “Teach as Jesus did” and our students are always encouraged to follow in Jesus’ footsteps.
