Father Joseph Maalouf

Pastor

Father Joseph Maalouf was born in Zahle, Lebanon, in 1958 and graduated high school in Beirut, Lebanon 1974. Left Lebanon 1976 after spending a year and half in the Lebanese Civil War. He came to Miami, Florida, where he began to work in paint & body repairs, becoming a shop owner-manager at the age of 28. Father Joseph got married at 20 years of age and had two daughters whom he loves very much. He was divorced at the age of 40 and received an annulment from the Archdiocese of Miami since his marriage was not a sacrament.

Father Joseph worked for USAA Insurance first as an appraiser and then became the Territory manager for South Florida. He also managed the largest shop in the Southeast US for Kendall Toyota, which had 52 employees. The last position held was the Body Shop manager of Toyota of South Florida.​

Father Joseph answered God’s call to the Permanent Diaconate formation in 2005 and was ordained a Permanent Deacon on December 4th, 2010. In late May 2011, Father Joseph received another calling from God to the priesthood, which he accepted.

August 2012 Father Joseph entered Blessed John XXIII National Seminary in Weston, Massachusetts on behalf of the Archdiocese of Miami. Ordained to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ May 13th, 2017, the 100th anniversary of Our Lady Of Fatima. Received the degree of Masters in Divinity from St. John XXIII National Seminary in 2017.​

Father Joseph was assigned to All Saints Catholic Church in Sunrise as Parochial Vicar on June 1st, 2017, where he served until October 14th, 2019. The second assignment was at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Pembroke Pines as Parochial Vicar until his assignment at St Jerome Catholic Church and School as Parochial Administrator of St. Jerome Catholic Church & School.
